I feel really strange now. It's spring, but I'm walking around with black nails, in black jacket & pants like an emo. Now I'll go to run outside, then sleep few hours and at the evening there will be Musiqq concert...

Today we had to embowel fish at biology laboratory works and recognize all its organs. Was fun, but also a bit nasty.

Hi everyone! :)

I'm now addicted to a song Nic Chagall feat. Jonathan Mendelsohn - This Moment. I know, it's a bit old, but I don't care. Just found a video which I downloaded from Kimi Raikkonen Space in 2009, and all these memories came back... It's hard to understand me, I know. Raikkonen was in formula-1 for 9 years, so many my memories are connected with it, and in this video is his last race - Abu Dhabi 2009. After it he left F1. And this video always makes me remember everything. Anyway, sorry for horrible beginning of the post, but you can listen to this song while reading all this :)

First of all, I wish you all happy Easter! It's a bit late, I know, but I was very busy all this weekend :)

Yesterday, as it was Easter, I went to my grandma, and I also had to show her some photos. While my mom went there by bus, I took my bike [btw, it's much faster!]. This road where I always drive there, is a bit strange - there is cannabis field, mad wild dogs, a house in which yard a big white cross is standing and I once saw a group of people in long white dresses dancing around it, old cemetery and an empty road where always strange men are walking [once one of them had a big and heavy bag, maybe there was a body? xD]. At least, it's good to do some sports, cause it's 25 km to Jugla and back :) And yesterday I also drove to Mežciems and a hospital [my grandma's brother is now there], and also I was at Biķernieki race track :) Yesterday there also was some race, so part of this track was closed, but I drove a bit there :)

I also took a video while driving around the track *I won't post it here*, but it looks that I'm driving sooo slow there :D My dad already told me that it just looks like that, cause I'm totally accustomed to watching F1 races, when cars are going at more than 300 km/h, but still I think I have to drive a bit more this year than in previous ones - since I have no sport lessons ar university, I'm feeling like an old granny, unable to do anything. But my target is to drive 100 kilometres without stopping this year :)

And also there was a great sunset on the way home ^.^

It's just sad that today is the last day of my one week Easter holidays and tomorrow I have to go to university again, but hope May will pass fast ^.^ Of course, then in June we will have session with lots of hard exams like anatomy & Earth science and in July I will have to spend a month in Kolka, but it's ok.

Just returned home from Garciems... I'm feeling like tomorrow I will simply die xD I was in this forest with my teacher today, so at least I got there by a car, not by the train. Fortunately, day was sunny and not so warm, and everything went +/- well, but I'm sooo tired xD Maybe I finally must start to do some sports :D

After concert we also will go somewhere, seems like a perfect Friday night :) Here's my ticket :)

Closing the door I leave the world behind

I don't want to write much today. It's spring, and I'm fed up with this blog. It's ok to write something if it's dark evening or rainy day, but when it's warm even I want to go somewhere, and also I have so many things to do now. This week I am free, so it's finally a right time to do everything I wanted. Today I went to a library in faculty of physics&maths to take a book (I'm learning maths for 3 months now, and I still haven't got my book, lol), at the evening I'm going to movie with my friend, tomorrow or on Wednesday I'll go to Garciems with my teacher (to find some places for my course work), and then there will be Easter, so I'm definitely going somewhere! :)

This weekend I finally opened my bike-season this year ^.^ On Saturday drove ~20 km, and when I stopped near the lake, I found there 2 species of uncommon birds (at least for me) - great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus) and coot (Fulica atra) (on this photo). Yes, I have seen these birds before, but didn't know how they are called, but now I have to learn 72 species of birds for biology, so I have a book with pictures and can recognise them xD

And on Sunday I went to the sea, and also drove a bit in the wood :)

Today I feel sooo positive & great, seems like spring affects me positive finally [it's so unusual to me xD]. And I'm now watching my favourite show Fear Factor, I'm really sorry that it ended in 2005 and there are no new series, cause these old I already almost know by heart :D

First of all, pics from today's laboratory works in biology with animals, this was my favourite ^.^ I want him at home, but my mom will kill me for that!

Also on Saturday I went to Garciems again, but as a crazy girl I couldn't simply walk around, so had to climb everywhere I could xD

Also there were so much different birds, unfortunately it was foggy, so I couldn't see them... And it was really wet, but warm :)

And also on Sunday I went shopping again :) Bought everything I wanted, great feeling of satisfaction ^.^

Today is wonderful weather ^.^

Heey everyone! :) I'm here finally... This week is like a hell - so much to do and not so much time for all these things... And the worst thing is that I can't just forget about it, don't go to university; I simply have to do all this. Not a positive beginning for a post, so I'll try to stop complaining about everything ^.^

Last time I wrote here at the beginning of March... I'm really lazy, sorry for this :)

At 4th of March I went to my best friend's badge evening at school... It's a tradition in our country, like a last time when everyone's still together, without thinking about exams and like enjoying last days as a free & hopeful child... It was so great, for the first time since I finished school, I wanted to come back! There were lots of songs, shows, movies and so on, everything full with emotions... So, a photo:

Then on 19th of March my Mum had her birtday, so we went to my grandma's flat & celebrated there a bit :)

It was like: `F*ck, cake is burning!` xD Me & Linda tried to light 46 candles, and we dropped burning match on a paper under a cake, so it started to burn xD Was funny, fortunately we managed to put out fire :D

So, about my studies now :) Actually, I'm now half ill, so I'm not really enjoying everything (and we have tests everywhere!), but last two weeks were interesting :) First of all, because of biology laboratory works :)

Two weeks ago we had a work about assessment of human's somatic functions - we were told about fat, and then had to measure our pulse, blood pressure, waist & hips girth, weight, height and fat-fold thickness xD So, my results, just don't laugh, I know I'm not perfect ;)

These parametres are: 1. sex; 2. age; 3. height; 4. weight; 5. body mass index (BMI); fat percentage in body calculated by 6. Deurenberg & 7. Jackson-Pollock formula; 8. fat fold thickness on the back of the upper arm, under spatula, above iliac crest bone, on belly, on the front of the thigh & back of the shank; 9. fat percentage in body depending on previous results; 10. waist girth; 11. hips girth (I measured it with my clothes on, so these numbers are big xD ); 12. division of previous numbers (so you know your body type); 13. somatotype; 14. pulse frequency; 15. blood pressure; 16. hand grip muscle strenght (right/left arm).

And yesterday we made our cardiograms, so my results:

First line is when sensors are on your both arms; second - on right arm & left leg; third - on left arm & left leg. So, depending on this, my heart is normally placed & is working good, too :)

And also we were given real pig's heart, and we should mark different structures in it with numbers, it was fun :) Some other girls couldn't even touch it, so I don't know how they are, for example, cooking something if heart seems so nasty to them xD

But Earth science really isn't so great now, last Thursday we had a test (was so hard!), and this Monday we had to answer minerals. Pray God you never have to do something like this! We had to learn everything about more than 70 minerals, their chemical formula, hardness, cleavage, gloss, structure, use and so on... And in this test we were given 3 minerals, and we should say what it is and about all these parametres. Thought I would die there, but our teacher was in a good mood then :) I got quartz, gallenite & flogopite, fortunately recognized them... And here are pics of quartz, serpentine & silvine, I took photos of them during lectures for my course-mates ;)

And now it's also time for everyone from masters to make their final works, so everyone's trying to persuade us to take part in their experiments xD I will go to an experiment about body proportions, the only thing that I don't like is that I will be forced to pose for photos just in underwear, lol xD Maybe it'd be a good idea if I take part in some other experiments, for example, blood, so I won't have to go to a doctor, just have my health tested for free & help other people with it :)

Ok, enough text & photos for today, although I could tell you much more about everything, cause life's really going on now :)

And I'm soooo looking forward to this weekend, cause new formula-1 season will begin! I miss engine sounds so much & also all my beloved drivers like Seb, Fernando, Jaime, Lewis, Nico & Felipe... Hope this season will be even better than previous ;*

Hello, people! :)

Finally I'm here, and it's March already. Did I say that I hate spring? Especially after such a nice February we had, almost every day was sunny and so cold as I like, but now it's raining and there are just clouds everywhere. Any chance that I'll like it sometimes? Don't think so.

I really don't want to write much today, but I have lots to say and also some pics to show you. First of all, last Thursday me & my friend from university went to `Bodies Revealed`, was really interesting and educational too for anatomy lectures & laboratory works :) I only don't understand those parents who took their kids there [one woman was with a boy, who maybe was 1,5-2 years old], cause it's not an exhibition that everyone can attend - there are real bodies... We couldn't take pictures there, cause there were cameras and people watching you, but if you want, you can see some pics from internet here.

Last Saturday I don't know what happened to me, but I went shopping xD And not because I needed something, but just for fun, and I also bought lots of things there. I know it's not something extraordinary, but for me it really is, cause all my life I don't act like a girl, now maybe it's not so obvious, but when I was a kid, I really was like a boy xD So, things I bought:

Sweater [bought it for summer nights with biologists at Kolka ^.^] & black jeans from Cubus, bolero jacket from New Yorker.

Skirt from New Yorker [they really look great when you wear them :) ]

Dress from New Yorker [seems I love this shop and I was totally in a strange mood that day xD ]

Shoes [don't remember where I bought them, but they're really great and comfortable [unfortunately I can't wear shoes with heel, cause I had serious foot & ankle trauma at the age of five, so had to choose these]].

And also a pic from the same day, it was really beautiful & sunny, and also snowflakes were falling, so everything was like covered with diamonds, it's not so great on this photo, but still beautiful :)

Oh, and also last Friday I was with my friend on a movie `Black Swan`. That evening when we decided to go there, a man was killed in this cinema and at the same movie, but still we went there. What can I say - I really liked how Natalie Portman played her role, although I never think about how actors are playing, but movie on the whole was a bit crazy O.o But I liked it :)

Ok, I'm tired of writing, had my first test in biology this year about fungi & algae; it was funny when as an answer to one question I wrote `I choose mushrooms, cause I like them and they're tasty!` xD That's totally me, lol xD
